ABOUT INFLUENCE

Influence is the young adult ministry of Jubilee Christian Church, uniting 18-30 year olds around one mission: to know God deeply and make Him known. We gather every Sunday at the 12:30 PM service, and throughout the week in Influence Houses - small group communities that provide space for discipleship, prayer, and authentic connection for young adults navigating college, careers, and life after graduation.

Influence is also on the front lines of campuses through Influence Campus Ministry (ICM), equipping students to build communities of faith at their schools and boldly live out the gospel among their peers. Whether on a campus or in a living room, Influence exists to raise a generation of young leaders who will shape culture, carry revival, and reflect Christ in every sphere of life.

ABOUT OUR PASTORS

Pastors Matthew K. Thompson Jr. ("Rev") and Brianna Thompson were officially ordained on October 3rd, 2025, but have been faithfully serving the youth and young adult ministries of Jubilee Christian Church for over five years. Together they lead CityWide and Influence, raising up a generation of students and young adults to live boldly for Christ and impact their schools, campuses, and communities.

Rev not only preaches most Friday nights at CityWide and every Sunday at the 12:30 PM service, but also coaches, mentors, and disciples young leaders, bringing both spiritual depth and creative vision to the ministry. Brianna preaches, leads worship, and provides creative direction, shaping experiences that point students and young adults toward Jesus with excellence and authenticity.

Their ministry reflects a shared calling: to disciple and empower the NOW generation of leaders who will shift culture and carry revival in Boston and beyond.
