We believe that the Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are God-breathed: that by the supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit, the biblical writers wrote the divine, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice. (Matthew 5:18; 24:35; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe in the one true God who has revealed Himself as eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; distinguishable yet indivisible (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Lord's Supper was the covenant meal that the Lord Jesus had with His disciples on the eve of the Passover before His crucifixion. This covenant meal should be eaten with great reverence and appropriate remembrance. You reverence the Lord and His presence in this holy meal.
There are 2 elements: The Bread and the Wine
The Bread represents the broken body of the Lord, and the Wine is His shed blood that established the New Covenant. You cannot live without being partakers of the Lord. He has enable you to be a partaker.
The Lord's Supper is a sacred observance that has been ordered by the Lord.
Being saved by grace through faith and not by works is a part of the "salvation experience." While we may try to neatly categorize baptism in the second area and not the first, doing so would be somewhat misleading as baptism spills over into both areas. Baptism's emphasis in obedience lends itself to being seen as a part of the sanctification process(more of the second area than the first), but its benefits are in the area of salvation assurance and the confirming of our faith (which more to do with the first part). therefore, water baptism must be viewed as a necessary experience for the genuine believer. It conforms to the genuine nature of his faith by solemnizing his faith with an important act (James 2:17) of obedience.
Water Baptism is held in Jubilee Boston and Jubilee Stoughton
